Innovative chemistry developments created a resin with unique properties


SpheriTide polymeric microspheres for solid phase peptide synthesis consist of poly-e-lysine cross-linked with multifunctional carboxylic acids. The peptidic nature of the polymer backbone is an optimum environment to assemble a peptide by solid phase chemistry, ultimately forming a true quasi-homogeneouspeptide-gel network.

The more uniform the resin, the more reproducible the peptide results. SpheriTide resins are made using a patented coupling process1 with known spacing between linker sites. There is less variability from batch to batch and between resin beads within each batch. This uniformity translates to better reproducibility in the synthesized peptide.
